As the market enters its seasonal slowdown, investors start to play a bigger role. Typically investors avoid the crowded summer market when there are more buyers and higher prices. 2013 in Portland Oregon has been interesting for investors as prices in many cases have exceeded the numbers needed to have positive cash flow. Much of the inflation in prices for investment property have come from owner users who are buying into good areas with the plans to reduce their holding costs by renting out the remaining units.
